  5. Tungsten has many applications including: carbide tooling, light bulb filaments, electrodes, turbine blades, kinetic energy penetrators, weights and radiation shields. It can also be used for strengthening steel.
  6. Tungsten has the highest melting point of all metals - 3,422 degrees C.
